Conception
We updated this home’s 1970s kitchen to make it usable for a family of four. Special touches included new heated flooring, high-end kitchen cabinets, stone countertops, a wow-factor back splash, and custom lighting throughout.
At the same time, VinnTerra renovated the master ensuite to give the clients heated floors; a walk-in custom shower with glass doors and stylish niche; custom cabinetry; and attractive accent lighting.
Creation
The success in this project was all about bringing in that one-of-a-kind, custom feel. We worked very closely with the homeowner, who had already completed dozens of renovations. She really knew what she wanted!
In the kitchen, special touches were required. So, we created custom pan pull-outs, drawer liners, garbage-and-recycling cabinets, a dedicated wine area, as well as discreet spots for electronic charging. The bathroom’s major fixtures and use of space were part of the overhaul. We installed a rain-head shower, custom glass work, a large CFM fan, and designer tile vents. These are complemented by a fresh aesthetic that grew from a successful collaboration.
Attention to detail while maintaining a steady pace was paramount in this double room renovation, especially with the owners living in the house during construction. Our daily work was timed exactly to their schedules, assuring minimal disruption.
Completion
The bathroom renovation gave the owners a spectacular master ensuite, adding to their comfort and the value of their home.
The kitchen was adjusted to take full advantage of the natural light from southern exposure and to maximize their views of the Olympic Mountains. In 2022, this renovated kitchen was featured in Victoria’s Boulevard Magazine!
