Like so many of our clients, this couple had worked with our team in the past. This time, they asked for targeted improvements and enhancements throughout: new back deck; overhauled kitchen with built-in eating area; updated hallway wainscoting; and a full bathroom renovation. Especially exciting, we were asked to convert a three-season atrium into a year-round craft room with large windows and skylights.
Conception
We updated different areas of this 1980s townhome in stages, according to a schedule based around the homeowners’ priorities and schedules. Taking that approach, we delivered the most pressing benefits first while also minimizing disruption to daily life.
Creation
These loyal clients collaborated closely on design choices, keeping the past achievements as well as future possibilities in mind. We brought the keen eyes needed to balance form and function. Together we achieved a cohesive look, maximized space, and optimized layout at every turn.
Completion
The owners reported a marvelous improvement to their daily lives, thanks to enhanced look and feel. Renewing other sections of an already familiar home felt very gratifying for us as well. We love working with homeowners’ ideas and vision over time, seeing their homes and lives evolve in tandem.
